LondonScammer. Totally avoid. I received a quote via 247Spares so I used the number provided. I asked the supplier to confirm that the part belongs to a Volvo V40 1.9 Diesel Manual and they said yes. When I received the part, I took it to the mechanic to discover that its the wrong part. Investigating further I found out that the part belongs to a Volvo V70 2.4 Diesel although my order was for a Volvo V40 1.9 Diesel. Emailed the seller and explained. Got no apologies and took a long process until they agreed on an exchange but I wanted them to send me a photo of the exchange part before sending out but they didn't do that. I sent the part back wanting a refund but now I'm not getting any response from them. No replies via email and the numbers I found online (01212488005 / 07788554106) doesn't work. Made a complaint with 247Spares. Now just waiting.
Really a zero-star review, avoid at all costs, check out other similar reviews online esp Trustpilot. Enquiry through 247spares led to a ref no for a car body part in West Midlands, Birmingham. I asked for a photo of the part, which was emailed over after a couple of hours. I recognised the photo - it had been uplifted from a part for sale on Ebay by a different supplier. Was able to trace the Ebay part to a supplier in another part of the country, who was able to photo the part from different angles and demonstrate that he actually had the part for sale, and who confirmed he had no knowledge of the Birmingham 'supplier'. Went back to the Brum supplier and asked him to send extra pics from different angles, he has not responded. Clearly a deliberate attempt to defraud me out of funds, fortunately, no money had been paid over. 247spares need to take these guys from their system, I'm happy to supply details should anyone ask. Awful, tread very carefully. The supplier was Sam Auto Parts, West Midlands.
